Eye Exams

At Swing Optical, our comprehensive eye exams go beyond a basic vision check. We use advanced diagnostic technology to provide a detailed assessment of your eye health and detect potential issues early—often before symptoms appear.

As part of our standard exam, we include an Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scan, which captures high-resolution images of the layers of your retina. This allows us to monitor for conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other retinal diseases with exceptional precision.

For our children eye exams, we also screen for health and vision concerns. Furthermore we offer myopia control testing. For our younger patients with myopia, we utilize axial length measurement technology. This is an important tool in managing and monitoring myopia (nearsightedness). Tracking axial length allows us to take proactive steps to stabilize/slow the progression of myopia.

We also perform visual field testing to assess your peripheral vision, which is crucial in detecting early signs of glaucoma and other neurological conditions. In addition, our exams include thorough glaucoma testing and screening for macular degeneration to ensure your long-term eye health is protected.
